PULSE//ZERO v0.3.1 — Now on macOS, leaderboards in-game
v0.3.1 lands a native macOS build, the global leaderboard inside the game, QR pairing, and a hotfix that reconnects linked players to the board.
PULSE//ZERO v0.3.1 is out — a patch that finishes the online loop from Clear Signal and brings the game to a new platform.
Now on macOS
There’s a native macOS build — universal, so it runs on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. It’s ad-hoc signed, so on first launch right-click the app → Open. Windows and Linux / Steam Deck builds continue alongside it.
See the board without leaving the game
- Global leaderboard in-game — the leaderboard screen now has GLOBAL / YOUR RUNS tabs. GLOBAL shows the live Northforge board, highlights your entry, and tells you your best rank even when you’re outside the visible top-N.
- Post-run rank — the game-over screen confirms your submission with your GLOBAL RANK (or “saved locally” when you’re offline).
- QR pairing — scan a code to jump straight to the link page instead of typing the URL.
Hotfix
The online client was pointing away from the live server and the leaderboard read path was never wired up, so linked players saw no board or rank. That’s fixed — link once and the board is there.
Full build notes are on the changelog. As always: no telemetry, and nothing leaves your machine unless you opt into online features.
